Overcurrent protection of small mobility scooter
Speed limit protection is a unique design control program for small mobility scooters. When the vehicle speed exceeds a certain predetermined value, the circuit stops supplying power without assisting. For the electric mobility scooter, the uniformly stipulated vehicle speed is 20km/h. When the small mobility scooter is designed, the rated speed has been set, and the control circuit has also been set. A small mobility scooter can only run under this speed state. The location of the controller does not affect performance, mainly depending on the designer’s intention. But there are a few principles:
(1) When the operation permits;
(2) When the overall arrangement allows;
(3) When the line layout is required;
(4) When required by supporting facilities.
The output speed control signal is a voltage signal and the output voltage of the Hall switch depends on the strength of the magnetic field around the Hall element. Rotating the handle changes the strength of the magnetic field around the Hall element, which also changes the output voltage of the Hall handle. Then the voltage is input to the controller, and the controller performs PWM pulse width modulation according to the magnitude of this signal. So as to control the ratio of turn-on and turn-off of the power tube to control the size of the motor speed.
